Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting Justin Hester, a firefighter-paramedic from the Pasadena Fire Department, who came to speak with our young men. During his visit, he shared his experiences from fighting the Palisades Fire and provided insight into the challenges and rewards of working in firefighting and emergency services.
Justin emphasized the importance of the Fire Academy as a training ground for future firefighters, as well as the vital role of becoming an EMT in serving and protecting the community. He also took the time to answer the young men’s questions, offering them valuable advice and inspiration for those interested in pursuing careers in emergency services. It was an engaging and motivating session that left a lasting impact on everyone involved.
